Pearl Harbor Arizona Memorial and Circle Island Tour
The Arizona Memorial was
closed in late May due to needed structural repairs. This is an ongoing
repair job that currently does not have a scheduled completion date.
During this time, depending on availability and time it may be possible
for the tour to take the navy launch around the harbor without landing
at the Arizona Memorial. When repairs are completed and the Arizona
Memorial is reopened, it will be added back into the tour.
Want to see Peal Harbor & the island of Oahu in one day? Think it can’t happen? Well think again! When you book through Arizona Memorial Tours the impossible becomes possible. They’ve partnered with Polynesian Adventure Tours to give you the best Oahu has to offer in one full day. See it all with their Pearl Harbor Arizona Memorial and Circle Island Tour.
The day begins at 7am with free pickup from most Waikiki hotels. You’ll board an air-conditioned Gray Line Bus that will take you from destination to destination in style. The first stop on the tour is the Arizona Memorial and Pearl Harbor. You’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back into December 7, 1941 as you view a film of the attack and get to view all the historic artifacts on display. If that isn’t enough history for you, you’ll then board a Navy launch across the Harbor to the Arizona Memorial. You’ll get the see the BLACK TEARS of oil that still bubbles to the surface today. Once back on dry land, your next destination is the scenic sites of Oahu. You’ll start in the mountains at the Windward O’ahu at the Nu’uanu Pali Lookout and you’ll get free admission into the Byodo-In Temple (No visit on Memorial Day). From there you’ll move back down to the sea to get a view of North Shore Surfing including the beaches of Sunset, Banzai Pipeline, and Waimea Bay. And you can’t forget the famous Dole Plantation on Oahu. You’ll get to visit it and learn about the history of Hawaii’s pineapple industry. All this includes a state certified expert tour guide and lunch at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
